Panasonic Lumix DC-S5
The LUMIX S5 combines photo and video in perfection. Together with the new autofocus, the robust magnesium body and last but not least the compactness, this makes it the ideal companion for photographers and videographers who do not want to compromise.
The 24 MP full-frame sensor ensures wide dynamic range and very low-noise image quality thanks to Dual Native ISO technology. Even higher resolutions are possible with the High Resolution mode, which creates detailed images at 96 MP in RAW or JPG.
Another highlight is provided by the internal 5-axis image stabilization, which, in combination with lens stabilization, allows up to 6.5 stops longer exposure time without blur.
The improved autofocus uses Deep Learning technology to recognize eyes , head and body for significantly faster and more precise focusing in photo and movie shooting.
Professional video recording is achievable through max 4K 60p 4:2:2 10 bit with 14+ f-stops dynamic range in Vlog, HDR, slow & fast motion as well as various audio solutions.
Lastly, the L Mount bayonet and the alliance with Leica and Sigma Future-proofing and fast lens expansion.

Panasonic LUMIX S 20-60mm F3.5-5.6
The LUMIX S 20-60mm F3.5-5.6 is a rugged, lightweight standard Zoom lens with a focal length of 20mm ultra-wide to 60mm for versatile use from dynamic landscapes to portraits. The wide angle of view also facilitates indoor shooting, and the impressive close-up limit of 0.15 m (maximum magnification 0.43x) extends its use in product photography. The LUMIX S Zoom also ensures high-quality video recording by minimizing focus breathing as best as possible.
Thanks to its compact design and low weight of around 350 g, it does not compromise the photographer's mobility. It features a dust and splash resistant design and can be used in the harshest conditions down to -10°C. In addition, a fluorine coating on the front element repels water and oil. The filter diameter is 67mm and the lens features nine blades for a virtually circular aperture.
The lens consists of 11 elements in 9 groups and uses 2 aspherical lenses and 3 ED (extra-low dispersion) lenses to suppress both axial chromatic aberration and chromatic magnification aberration. Astigmatism can be additionally corrected with these aspherical lenses, resulting in high resolving power. In addition, the UHR (Ultra-High Refractive Index) lens enables uniform image quality from the center to the edges of the image and provides a compact design.
- L-bayonet mount
- F3.5-5.6 aperture at 20-60mm focal length
- Compact and lightweight ultra-wide-angle zoom
- High quality - high resolution and contrast and low distortion
- Robustness: dust, splash and cold resistant
- Fast and precise autofocus
- Focus breathing minimized
- High quality construction: 11 lens elements in 9 groups; 2 aspherical, 3 ED and one UHR lens, fluorine coated
Panasonic Lumix S Pro 70-300mm f4.5-5.6 O.I.S.
Again with this telephoto zoom, the Dual I.S. stabilization system combines the lens' O.I.S. (Optical Image Stabilizer) with the stabilizer in LUMIX S-series cameras to compensate for camera shake, allowing a 5.5-stop slower shutter speed. In the process, focus control with a maximum 480 fps high-speed sensor drive realizes fast, high-precision autofocus.
With an outstanding minimum focusing distance of 0.54m and 0.74m respectively, the LUMIX S 70-300mm F4.5-5.6 MACRO O.I.S. achieves a maximum magnification of 0.5x (at 300mm), enabling half-life-size macro photography and video. The rounded aperture with its 11 blades provides a particularly attractive bokeh over the entire Zoom range.
Yet the LUMIX S 70-300mm F4.5-5.6 MACRO O.I.S. is compact and lightweight for comfortable portability. The rugged, dust- and splash-proof construction also withstands use in harsh conditions, even at -10° C. In addition, the fluorine coating on the front element is water and oil repellent. The filter diameter is 77 mm.
The optimal arrangement of 17 lens elements in 11 groups with one UED (Ultra Extra-low Dispersion) lens, two ED (Extra-low Dispersion) lenses and one UHR (Ultra-High Refractive Index) lens effectively suppresses both axial chromatic aberration at the telephoto end and magnification chromatic aberration at shorter focal lengths. In particular, the UHR lens achieves uniform image quality from the center to the edges of the frame while contributing to the compact size of the lens.
All LUMIX S-series lenses feature a mechanism that minimizes "focus breathing" for videographers when shooting video, a phenomenon that occurs when using interchangeable lenses designed primarily for still image capture. In addition, focus shifting is suppressed during Zooming, keeping the subject in focus and enabling better video capture.
