Sony Alpha ILCE-7R IIIA Body
High resolution and light sensitivity improve your images in terms of sharpness, naturalness, and detail. Autofocus and tracking performance, as well as continuous shooting mode at up to 10 frames per second, have been significantly improved. Professional usability for greater efficiency! A lightweight, compact body allows for more flexible use.
With an extremely high-resolution, rear-illuminated 43.6 megapixel Exmor R CMOS full-frame sensor, ten frames per second, and extra-fast autofocus, the α7R IIIA is ahead of its predecessor. The 399 phase autofocus points cover about 68 percent of the sensor. In addition, there are 425 contrast autofocus points. Even the eye autofocus is now twice as effective as before. The 5-axis optical image stabilizer gives photographers 5.5 more stops of latitude. Videographers will be pleased with 4K videos with full pixel readout and no pixel binning.
Professionals will appreciate the two SD card slots, longer battery life, and superspeed USB port (USB 3.1 Gen 1 Type C). The camera itself is small and compact.
Tamron 70-180mm f2.8 Di III VXD Sony E-mount
The 70-180mm F/2.8 Di III VXD (model A056) is a fast telephoto Zoom lens for Sony full-frame mirrorless cameras. Its most outstanding feature is its high image quality at a consistently high open aperture of F/2.8, as well as its handy body.
With a length of only 149 mm (at 70mm) and a weight of only 810 g, it is the lightest and most compact lens in its class. Multiple special optical glass elements ensure excellent imaging performance from the center to the edges of the image.
Automatic focusing is achieved with Tamron's newly developed VXD (Voice-coil eXtreme-torque Drive) autofocus. The short focusing distance of 0.85 m opens up new photographic expression possibilities for the user. A special feature of the 70-180mm F/2.8 is its ability to focus on a subject at 70mm with manual focus from a close distance of just 0.27m.
With this lightweight tele-Zoom lens, you'll get close to your subject in any situation - and reward yourself with a perfect shot to boot!
The fastest autofocus motor Tamron has yet developed
The VXD autofocus is a world first: it is the first linear focus motor developed by Tamron for superior automatic focusing. Two VXD modules, acting in a floating system and controlled by electronic pulses, ensure fast and precise focusing on both close and distant lenses. The new motor also guarantees improved AF tracking, for example in sports shots. The autofocus works so quietly that you can even shoot in situations that require absolute silence. In short, when it counts, you can rely on the 70-180mm F/2.8 - whether you're shooting stills or video.
Shortest focusing distance only 0.85m
The 70-180mm F/2.8's shortest focusing distance is just 0.85m, regardless of the focal length you choose. For a fast telephoto Zoom lens, this is exceptionally short. At 180mm, this results in a maximum magnification of 1:4.6 - ideal for expressive close-ups.
The 67mm filter diameter is the same as all other Tamron lenses in this series.
