NiSi Cinema Nano IR ND Hard (0.9) gray gradient filter (vertical)
The NiSi Cinema 4×5.65″ Nano IR ND Hard edge filter with a darkening of 3 stops (0.9) is a neutral density graduated filter that darkens the often too bright upper image area of the scene (sky) while the foreground of the image remains unaffected.
The NiSi Cinema product range consists of optical glass for images with optimum clarity and without loss of sharpness.
Nanocoating on both sides & infrared light control
Our filters are manufactured in one piece from optical glass and feature NiSi's exclusive double-sided nano-coating technology with infrared light control.
Scratch resistant, oil and water repellent
The nano-coating forms a protective layer on the glass, making it scratch-resistant and very easy to clean.
Ultra-low color shift
Excellent color fidelity compared to other leading competitors.
Anti-reflective coating
The nano-coating developed by NiSi also reduces glare and reflections to deliver a perfect 6K digital image without loss of clarity.

"Hard" gradient
The hard filters have a gradient transition between the light and dark areas, which is rather hard. The Hard GND filter is best suited for scenes that have a large or interrupted transition from the foreground to the sky. For example, alpine landscapes with mountains rising above the horizon line or dramatic rock formations (surf pillars) by the sea.
The NiSi Cinema 4×5.65″ vertical filters are perfect for combining with the NiSi C4 Cinema filter holder, providing a lightweight and quick to mount system for lenses with common filter threads. The Cinema filters from NiSi are manufactured with a thickness of 4mm so that they can be used in filter frames or frameless systems. A leatherette bag for storage and transportation is included. A larger filter bag is available separately to organize and store multiple filters at once.
