The NiSi True Color ND16 filter with 4 stops is the ideal tool for photographers who want to transform their TRUE COLOR ND-VARIO with 1-5 stops (0.3-1.5) into a TRUE COLOR ND-VARIO with 5-9 stops (1.5-2.7) and approach the world of long exposure, or for videographers who want to be able to control the light in real time while shooting without artifacts or aberrations.

NiSi Filters has developed this unique filter system, the SWIFT, which allows you to convert your TRUE COLOR ND VARIO 1-5stops (0.3-1.5) (sold separately or with the Swift VND KIT) into a 5-9 VND True Color by simply sliding in the ND16 and creating a new filter ready to provide a reduction of light entering the lens from 1 to 9 stops. The filter's characteristics and quality avoid any "X" or "cross effect" that variable ND filters often suffer from.

The unique lens quality optical glass that has made the NiSi brand famous has also been used for this ND variable. Added to this is the Nano Coating treatment that makes the surface waterproof and resistant to grease and dirt. Cleaning the filters has never been so easy.

This filter has no thread on the lens side*, as NiSi has developed a new push-to-fit system to easily and "quickly" fit the ND16 True Color 4 stops to your TRUE COLOR ND-VARIO 1-5 stops (0.3-1.5) and turn it into a TRUE COLOR ND-VARIO 5-9 stops (1.5 - 2.7).

*Thread is only on the front of the filter, if the photographer or videographer wants to stack another threaded filter, they must use the correct thread engraved on the filter.
