NiSi Cinema Nano IR ND Soft (0.9) Graduated Gray Filter (Vertical)

The NiSi Cinema 4×5.65″ Nano IR ND Soft edge filter with a darkening of 3 stops (0.9) is a neutral density graduated filter that darkens the often overly bright upper portion of the scene (sky) while leaving the foreground of the image unaffected.

The NiSi Cinema range is made of optical glass for shots with optimum clarity and no loss of sharpness.

Double-sided nano-coating & infrared light control

"Soft" gradient

The Soft filters have a gradient transition between the light and dark areas that is very soft. The Soft GND filter is best for scenes that have a large or interrupted transition from foreground to sky. For example, alpine landscapes with mountains rising above the horizon line or dramatic rock formations (surf piers) by the sea.

The NiSi Cinema 4×5.65″ vertical filters are perfect for combining with the NiSi C4 Cinema Filter Holder, providing a lightweight and quick-to-mount system for lenses with common filter threads. NiSi's Cinema filters are made with 4mm thickness for use in filter frames or frameless systems. A leatherette bag is included for storage and transport. A larger filter bag is available separately to organize and store multiple filters at once.
