LAOWA Argus 45mm f0.95 FF for Nikon Z
The Argus 45mm f/0.95 FF is an ultra-wide fixed focal length for full-frame cameras. The large aperture of f/0.95 is perfect for shooting in low light and for creating outstanding bokeh or out-of-focus background effects. Therefore, it is ideal for users in street, people and landscape photography. With this speed, it is also very powerful in astro.
The 15 aperture blades create a super soft and smooth bokeh with luminous light without hard edges. And it does so in absolutely sharp and clear images - even at open aperture. Like the other two Argus lenses, the 33mm f/0.95 CF APO (APS-C) and the 35mm f/0.95 FF (full-frame), the LAOWA Argus 45mm f/0.95 FF also features an aperture ring with click switch mechanism that can be switched from click to stepless. This makes it equally perfect for photographers and filmmakers. There is no noticeable change when the aperture is changed during filming.
Thanks to a low focus breathing, there is no change in image framing when turning the focus ring and shifting the focus within the image - for example, from an object close to the front lens to an object further away. The closest focusing distance is 50cm. Despite the enormous speed, the robust metal housing of the lens with internal focusing is very compact and ideally suited for full-frame cameras.
Filters or an adapter ring with 72mm diameter can be screwed directly onto the front thread. This also gives the possibility to work with plug-in filter systems. Together with the very smooth and precise focusing due to the 300° focus thread, it is also an ideal lens for filmmakers. Focusing and aperture adjustment are manual.
