Technology that leaves nothing to be desired
The features of the lens are impressive: the weather protection allows use even in adverse conditions, the Ultra Multi Coating (UMC) as well as the four special lenses, two ASP (aspherical) and two HR (high-refractive), prevent aberrations, ghosting, flares and other imaging errors. The focus is driven by a linear stepper motor (LSTM) that is extremely quiet at 23.05 dB, yet incredibly fast. The lens is extremely compact at 63.5 mm in length and 65 mm in diameter. Thanks to the compact design, it weighs only 210 grams and is hardly noticeable.

Versatile - the Custom Switch for personal configuration
With the Custom Switch, the Samyang AF 35mm F1.8 gives you the opportunity to configure the lens individually. Using a separately available Lens Station, you can assign the two switch positions Mode 1 and 2 with the specified functions as you wish: Manual Focus, Manual Iris, Auto Focus and Auto Iris.
