Sigma 14-24mm f2.8 DG DN (Art) L-Mount Single
Many photographers like to use low ISO sensitivity to keep image noise as low as possible. Especially in star photography, fast wide-angle lenses are often chosen because they can make efficient use of low light. The 14-24mm F2.8 DG DN Art was developed as the ultimate wide-angle Zoom lens by optimizing standard technical specifications for star photography for full-frame mirrorless cameras.
- Part of the newly developed line of high-performance lenses for full-frame mirrorless cameras
- High-resolution image quality through exclusive glass elements with low color dispersion and NPC (Nano Porous Coating) .
- Extensive feature set ensures user confidence even under difficult conditions
- Rear filter holder as a standard accessory
imaging performance and outstanding resolution to the edge of the frame make it the "definitive lens for astrophotography." This new-generation Zoomlarge-diameter lens takes advantage of the special features of the short flange focal length, combining a compact body with unprecedented high-resolution image quality.
One FLD glass and five SLD glass elements are arranged to suppress chromatic aberrations right to the edge of the image. Three aspherical lenses, including a large-diameter aspherical lens as the front lens, effectively minimize coma, etc., to achieve stunning resolution. Super multi-layer coating* is combined with a newly developed NPC (Nano Porous Coating). The lens is designed to be less susceptible to strong incident light such as backlight.
The inclusion of a stepper motor enables fast and quiet AF drive. Shooting is also comfortable with point AF such as face detection/eye detection AF and video recording. The AFL button, which can be assigned with various functions, extends the working range of the lens.
In addition, the lens has a dustproof and splashproof design, as well as a water- and oil-repellent coating on the front lens, which further supports photography in various environments
