Videos are moving more and more into the foreground. This is also the case with cameras. Whether for streaming, dog videos, the video of the grandson or the friends, every camera today should be able to record videos.
But how good does the video quality have to be?
For home use, the now standard HD quality is usually quite sufficient.
4K video quality is already very high-quality and thus also more expensive, but it is also supported more and more often. Thus, we would only recommend 4K if you make videos more often.
The newest and also highest quality cameras today even support up to 8K video quality. However, these are still found exclusively in professional photography and even there mostly only when mainly videos are to be made.
