Metabones is one of the leading manufacturers of bayonet adapters for a wide range of cameras and lenses.

Contrary to the trend of other manufacturers to use black lacquered aluminum rings on the camera side of the adapter, Metabones makes use of precision machined and chrome-plated brass rings on both the camera side of the adapter and the lens side. This ensures smooth mounting and durability. The lens side has a robust leaf spring structure that reinforces the connection between the adapter and lens and prevents optical distortion. The Metabones adapters are also painted matt black to keep reflections to a minimum and therefore allow the maximum optical quality of the lens to be used.
