Manfrotto Ball head Midi 498

The tripod head, which can be loaded up to 8 kg, is equipped with a camera support plate. The ball head is ideal for use with all analog and digital SLR and medium format cameras. The camera support plate has a diameter of 52mm and a 1/4" thread. A 3/8" thread (w) is available as tripod connection.

• Friction adjustment: The 498 has a friction adjustment for individual adjustment of the ball resistance to the camera weight. This increases equipment security and control and further allows for fine adjustment of equipment.
• Positioning: Two separate locking levers are used to lock the ball and 360° rotation. The ball can be aligned +90°-90°.
• Ergonomic design of the levers: The ergonomic shapes allow optimal handling and thus easy fixation of the ball.
