Rode VideoMic Rycote
The VideoMic is ideal for users of digital video cameras who do not want to do without professional studio quality sound. The wide transmission range, low self-noise and supercardioid characteristic guarantee optimum recording sound. The camcorder should have a hot shoe for microphone mounting and a stereo mini jack as audio input. The microphone is ultra-light (only 176 g), but extremely robust with its ABS housing. The overall length is 25 cm. Integrated is a sliding elastic suspension, which eliminates disturbing structure-borne noise.
The switchable high-pass filter can be used to additionally suppress low interference frequencies if required. The microphone is powered by a 9 V battery, which only needs to be replaced after 100 hours of operation. The VideoMic has an on/off switch and a battery control LED. A windscreen is included in the package.
The Rode VideoMic also features an integrated shock mount based on Rycote® Lyre® technology.
