The e 914 is a top-class condenser microphone with full body and excellent dynamics. By carefully emphasizing noble highs, it develops a silky character without being idiosyncratic. Its straightforward impulse response accurately captures the temperament of any set, even at very high sound pressure levels. With its detailed resolution, the e 914 refines any live drum sound. At the same time, the capsule is enormously resistant to feedback and can also be individually adjusted to different genres: Bass roll-off/cut-off and pre-attenuation can each be preselected in three stages.
