Magic Carpet is a simple, durable slider for smooth, professional tracking movements. Can be used for motion control and combines well with Syrp Genie products thanks to smooth roller bearings and integrated rope hooks. This slider rail requires end caps and slides. Should not be used as a standalone unit.

Syrp Magic Carpet End Caps and Carriage

The Magic Carpet set of end caps (feet) and sled are designed for use with the Magic Carpet Short Track (800 mm track) or the Magic Carpet Long Track (1600 mm track).

The carriage with integrated brake slides easily to the ends of the guide rods. The interchangeable 3/8"-16 and 1/4"-20 threaded screws can be used to attach either a camera, ball head or tripod head.

A spirit level is integrated into the carriage itself. The end caps are attached to the respective ends of the rail.

The end caps have adjustable feet that can be easily mounted and adjusted (leveled) with quick-release clamps without additional tools.

The Syrp rope system can be attached to the end caps. This allows the Syrp Genie Motion Controller to be used for time-lapse photography.

The motion controller can be easily mounted or removed.

Additionally, the end caps have a provision to use a counterweight for vertical travel. So you have the possibility to use the Syrp Magic Carpet Slider also for vertical travels especially with heavier cameras. The rope is simply tied around the Genie Motion Controller, and the counterweight is attached to the other end. Thus the weight of the camera is compensated.
