Peak Design Capture Clip with ARCA interchangeable plate
Ultra-stable camera clip for securely carrying a camera on a belt or strap
The Capture Clip is a versatile camera clip that you can use to carry your camera on almost any strap. Suitable straps can be trouser belts, waist belts, backpack straps or bag straps. Most Peak Design bags also have an attachment option for a Capture Clip
.Quick access and secure carrying in a fixed position - perfect for any type of activity
The clip offers numerous advantages: You always have your camera to hand without it ever getting in the way. And you always keep both hands free. The camera hangs in a stable position at all times. It does not swing around. Even if you move around a lot, the camera stays in position. All this makes the Capture Clip the perfect companion for movement-intensive activities. This includes trekking tours, climbing or cycling, for example. However, the clip also provides excellent service on city trips and in everyday life
.Optimized new version made entirely of aluminium - narrower, flatter, rounder and lighter
With version v3, the Capture Clip has been given a comprehensive facelift. The new clip is made entirely of aluminum. Compared to its predecessor, it is 20% narrower and 20% flatter. The new clip is therefore less bulky. And thanks to the slimmer design, even narrower photographers who wear the clip on a rucksack strap no longer have the problem of the clip digging into their shoulder when they move their arm. The smaller shape also makes the clip 30 % lighter. It also has a rounded design without edges and a smoother surface.
Super easy handling and quick camera access for spontaneous snapshots
The Capture Clip impresses with its completely uncomplicated handling: Attach the clip to a belt or trouser belt, screw the enclosed clamping plate under your camera and then snap the plate into the clip holder. That's it. The plate is secured by a locking mechanism so that it cannot fall out of the holder. At the same time, you retain quick camera access for spontaneous snapshots: Simply press in the locking button, remove the camera from the holder, take a photo and then put the camera back again. And if you want to be on the safe side, you can lock the locking button by turning it 90 degrees to the side.
Arca-Swiss-compatible aluminum camera plate with 1/4-inch screw and all-round clamping profile
The familiar Standard Plate camera plate also comes in a revised new version. The new Standard Plate is significantly flatter than its predecessor. It has a circumferential clamping profile which is Arca-Swiss compatible. The four-sided profile offers the advantage that you can insert the plate into the clip in all four directions. Always offset by 90 degrees. You can therefore always insert your camera into the clip with the lens pointing downwards. It doesn't matter whether you carry the clip upright or sideways. The plate also fits almost all panheads with an Arca-Swiss-compatible quick-release coupling. This means you don't have to change the camera plate every time you remove your camera from the Capture Clip to attach it to a panhead. A special novelty is the movable camera screw. The screw can be moved along a short groove. This gives you some leeway to attach the plate to your camera so that it does not get in the way of the battery compartment cover or other components.

Note
The Capture Clip v3 from 2017 can accommodate all Peak Design camera plates released up to that point. However, the new flatter standard plate plates cannot be used for older Capture Clip models. Although these plates can be inserted, the distance between the top of the plate and the top of the clip would be too small to insert the plate with a camera mounted on it into the clip
