Commlite Adapter Eos-EF/Eos-R

This adapter can be used to attach Canon EOS lenses to Canon EOS-R series cameras. Ideal for system switchers who have exchanged their SLR camera for a full-frame Canon mirrorless camera. The adapter supports autofocusing. It also transfers the aperture setting from the camera to the attached lens. It doesn't matter whether the aperture is set by the user or whether the camera calculates the appropriate aperture. In addition, important information such as the aperture number and the focal length is transferred to the Exif data of the images. On lenses with a corresponding function, image stabilization (IS) also works.

The adapter is suitable for all mirrorless full-frame cameras with a Canon-RF bayonet. In addition, the adapter works for almost all Canon EOS lenses. This includes EF lenses and EF-S lenses. However, adapting EF-S lenses is only of limited use, since their image circle is adapted to APS-C cameras, which is why shadowing can occur in the image corners.
