The grip head here is the connection between the diffuser frame and the support rod or alternatively a tripod.
Due to the special construction of the SUN-SWATTER, our clip, which is exactly matched to our frame diameters, is necessary for this connection. With the Tuning-Clips you can add further materials to your diffuser, e.g. if you want to create a full shadow for the camera, simply clip a piece of black molton onto the frame with this. A second Sunbounce frame or a lamp tripod will then fit into the padded carrying bag later.

The SUN-SWATTER PRO frame:
This is a patented completely demountable frame. It is super light and extremely stable. Handcrafted from anodized aluminum, these special frames fold in seconds to fit in a bag about 6 to 8 inches in diameter. Thereby the maximum length for all SUN SWATTER articles is limited to 135 cm. Thanks to the cross or clamping brackets already integrated in the frame, there are numerous holding options for comfortable use by hand or for attachment to a tripod.
The sturdy aluminum construction of this unique diffuser resembles an open "U" and has only one cross connection.

The -2/3 Translucent covering:
This diffuser covering softens and reduces your light by approximately -2/3 stops (measured directly behind the diffuser cloth). The light/shadow contrast is optimally adjusted, e.g. you can now control highlights that were previously outliers, even with the sun standing steeply in the sky and the strongest contrasts. You get an even base light, can expose e.g. portraits already on the shadows and get beautiful picture results. Or you can set light accents with a SUN-BOUNCE reflector, as you like it. In any case, you now have the lighting situation under control.

Application:
Z. E.g. for people photos, but also for factual photos, whenever you only want or need to soften or reduce your light source. To be used ideally outdoors with daylight and if you want to work very flexible and fast, without moving tripods and want to design your light in all conceivable situations according to your wishes. Also in the studio with spotlights or flash this diffuser can replace your lightbox (the material is so dense that no hotspots are created). Also to be used for mirroring or for a slight brightening.
