Polaroid 8x10 Duochrome Film Black & Yellow
Standard Film for 8×10 Film Holders and Developers
Prior to the Integral instant film, Polaroid manufactured manually developable separation film. In 1973, they introduced the large format 8x10 film, which creates photos of incredible quality. It is more complex, in handling, than conventional instant formats but unique. That's why we still make it by hand.
10- instant prints
- Silver frame
- ASA 640
- Development time 5-10 min .
- Store refrigerated
- Format: 8.4" × 12.8" (21.4 cm × 32.5 cm)
Store refrigerated, shoot warm
Film performance depends on temperature. Store the film in the refrigerator, but never freeze it. It is best to bring it to room temperature before use, about 55-82 °F (13-28 °C). If it is cold, keep your photos warm in a bag close to your body while developing. On a hot day, make sure they stay cool.
Shooting with Light
The more light in your shot, the better your photo will be
.
Instant film loves light, especially natural light. Use flash for all of your indoor shots. We recommend always shooting with flash except in bright sunshine.
Develop in the dark
All photos appear blank at first
.
Since they are most sensitive during this time, do not bend or shake them. Protect them from light while developing and face down. Keep black and white photos protected from light for about 1 minute, and color film for about 6 minutes.
Maintaining the Camera
Thereare rollers behind the film door of your camera
.
As each photo passes over these rollers, make sure they remain clean. If the rollers are visibly dirty, gently wipe them with a soft, damp cloth.
