Nikon Network adapter UT-1

The UT-1 is a universal network adapter compatible with some digital Nikon SLR camera models. It is only equipped with a wired LAN function, but can be expanded to include WLAN operation by combining it with the WT-5 wireless LAN adapter.

The adapter enables communication between the camera and a network and supports IEEE 802.3u (100BASE-TX)/IEEE 802.3 (10BASE-T) when used separately and IEEE 802.11a/b/g/n when combined with the WT-5 Wireless LAN Adapter. The adapter can be attached to the camera's accessory shoe (standard shoe) or to the optional SK-7 rail and is powered by an EN-EL15 battery. The UT-1 enables the creation of camera networks with remote image playback and download function. Using a computer with the software Nikon Camera Control Pro 2 software is installed, camera settings can be adjusted remotely and the live view image can be transferred.
