The TetherGuard Thread Mount Support is based on the idea of the tried and tested JerkStopper cable holder. It protects cable connections from possible tensile forces if a cable is accidentally pulled out of the device.

Now with a magnetic catch

Compared to its predecessor, the TetherGuard cable holder now has a magnetic catch. This is even easier and quicker to attach than the jerk stoppers. The new design also allows you to choose between a fixed mounting and a mounting that gives way if the tensile force is too high (breakaway). To use the breakaway function, only the flat side needs to be connected to the magnet

Universally applicable

Thanks to the 1/4 inch thread, the cable holder is perfect for attaching to spring clips with a threaded hole. This combination can be used universally to organize the cable routing. For example, a tethered shooting setup consisting of a camera, a tethering platform, a laptop and a tripod is conceivable. Within this setup, the cable holder can be used to attach the data cable to a tripod leg, for example
