The tiltable walimex pro umbrella holder is the absolute core piece of every strobist equipment and studio flash equipment. Whether as a connection between flash unit and tripod or as a tiltable adapter for attaching a transmitted light/reflex umbrella - this adapter allows you to set up any desired setup in your studio or on location. Simple, fast and uncomplicated.

Sophisticated details

Despite its robust and large design, the adapter weighs just 402 g and has many useful details. For example, a 2-part spigot adapter is included in the scope of delivery, which has both a 1/4 inch and a 3/8 inch threaded spigot. Furthermore, both spigot mounts can be fixed with corresponding levers/adjusting screws so that the tripod and flash unit are mounted absolutely firmly and securely. The umbrella holder is suitable for umbrella poles with a diameter of 11 mm (round umbrella poles) or a maximum width of 12 mm (umbrella poles with rib). The central tilt function can be operated via a large, easy-to-grip adjustment lever, which can be pulled out and adjusted for better handling. This allows you to operate your equipment optimally in any position.

This tiltable umbrella holder is compatible with all tripods, devices and accessories that have a spigot or spigot connection.

The recommended maximum load with inclined setting (test angle 45°) is approx. 3.5 kg - heavy flash heads with reflector and umbrella with 2 m diameter were tested.
