Thanks to the new, very easy-to-fold design, the Light Dome III can be set up and taken down in seconds. This saves valuable time on set, which is particularly appreciated by professionals.

Create the perfect soft light. You can choose between two diffusion strengths to adjust the light precisely. The 40° Light Control Grid also helps to create more contrast and depth in the image. With its round 32-sided structure, the softbox creates absolutely round and soft reflections. This can create ring-shaped highlights or imitate light sources such as the sun. In addition, the Light Dome III is more stable than its predecessor: the new 16 steel rods are more robust, more durable and retain the desired parabolic shape better.

Just like the other Aputure softboxes, the Light Dome III is equipped with the proven, universal Bowens Mount, making it the perfect addition to all modular LED spotlights from Aputure. Unlike conventional quick-mount softboxes, the Light Dome III's quick-mount ring can be folded into a slim, flat profile. This creates more space for other equipment needed on set.
