Novoflex Patron Set Olive

At first glance, the Novoflex PATRON looks like a conventional umbrella or parasol and can also be used as such. In the supplied cover it can be comfortably hung around and transported. The PATRON protects against rain and has a UV protection of 50+. The special: Thanks to the included brackets, it can be attached to a backpack and carried with a few simple steps if necessary. The height can be varied by a telescopic extension. The hands remain free so that photography can continue without restrictions. With the appropriate accessories, the umbrella can also be attached to a tripod and also provides optimal rain and sun protection for photographer and camera.

The functions as a photo umbrella are unique and can not be surpassed by the versatile applications:

As a monopod: a ¼" thread at the end of the telescopic extension turns the Patron into a full-fledged monopod with a height of 77 cm to max. 115 cm, which can also be used as an extended arm and enables shots from elevated perspectives.

As a tripod: by turning the umbrella cap upside down, the umbrella becomes a tripod that can be used for mirrorless system cameras, for example. With the Novoflex Ball 19 ball head (optionally available), the umbrella tripod can be further optimized.

As a reflector: With the umbrella cap turned upside down, different colored reflector foils can be attached, which can be used for brightening or shading, for example, in portrait or macro photography. The reflector foils are available in the colors sunlight, silver, gold, white and black. Attaching the foils is child's play, they are simply attached with eyelets and are ready for use in a flash. They are absolutely flat and provide an even light where it is needed.

As a flash reflector: the reflector can also be attached to the tripod in a free-moving manner using the QPL-Patron tripod holder. A flash can be attached to the ¼" screw on the QPL-Patron for indirect, unleashed flash. When using a ball head (e.g. Ball 19) between the QPL-Patron and the flash unit, the flash angle can be adjusted individually.

As a camouflage tent, mobile changing room, sun awning or windbreak: nature and fashion photographers alike will be delighted with this option. Two different colored camouflage tents in olive or sand are available as accessories, which can simply be put over the umbrella and fastened to the ground with tent pegs. There is a viewing window at 1.65m. The lens opening and main access can be closed with Velcro. The camouflage tents are not only useful for nature photographers, but 'also serve as a changing room on the beach and everywhere where the models should be protected from prying eyes. In addition, these cabins are a good protection of equipment such as laptop, etc. in the sun, rain and wind.
