Atomos Shinobi 5" II
The Shinobi II features a new slimmer body and 50% brighter HDR screen, Atomos' proven screen technology and professional monitoring tools, as well as exciting new hardware features such as camera control. Cameras from Canon, Panasonic or Sony can be controlled via USB-C, cameras from Z CAM can be controlled via an optional USB-C to Serial cable. Other camera manufacturers will be supported with future firmware versions. Thanks to its low power consumption and efficient hardware, the Shinobi II runs for a whole day on a single charge. The Shinobi II enables precisely exposed images thanks to advanced exposure tools such as False Color, Zebra, Histogram, Waveform and Vectorscope. The analysis view with several tools provides all important information at a glance. There is a selfie mirror mode for vloggers. The Shinobi II is the perfect tool to facilitate any photo or video production.
Camera control for a wide range of cameras
Utilizes the versatility of USB-C to control most current mirrorless or DSLR cameras from Canon, Panasonic and Sony as well as the popular compact cinema cameras from Z CAM's E2 series
is planned to support Fujifilm, Nikon, OM System and SIGMA cameras with future firmware updates.
Check camera status at a glance
Use the camera status indicator to keep an eye on the camera's internal shooting settings, battery status and remaining shooting time. The indicator with the red border shows when the camera is recording internally, regardless of whether it is triggered by the camera or the Shinobi II.
Perfect exposure for every shot
The Shinobi II combines the ability to set the aperture, shutter speed/angle and ISO value of the camera with the integrated exposure tools such as false colors, waveforms, zebra or the histogram. This allows you to achieve a perfect exposure for every shot.

Display a wide range of input signals
The Shinobi II is equipped with an HDMI 1.4 connection and enables the processing of signals in various resolutions and frame rates. Most notably 4K DCI and 4K UHD at up to 30p and 1080p HD signals at up to 60p.
HDR Monitoring and LUT Support
HDR HLG and HDR PQ monitoring modes allow you to preview the camera's LOG outputs in HDR, or load up to 8 LUTs into Shinobi's built-in memory to preview footage in your preferred look
Frame guides for every platform
With a variety of frame guides for cinema or social media films, you can compose your shots for any distribution medium. Shinobi II comes with presets for 2.41, 2.35, 1.91, 1.9, 1.85, 16:9, 9:16, 4:5, 2:3, 1:1, 5:4, 4:3, 3:2.
Lightweight and adaptable
Although more hardware features have been added, the weight of the Shinobi II has been reduced to an incredible 210 grams and mounting threads have been added to the underside to ensure secure mounting in any situation. The battery compartment is located in the center of the device to ensure balance and maneuverability. The included HDMI and USB-C locking adapter allows the use of Atomo's new cables with locking mechanism for a reliable connection.
Flexible power supply
The Shinobi II can be powered by NP-F batteries, the optional battery eliminator in combination with our DC Barrel to D-Tap cable or via USB-C PD (10W input). The camera can also be charged and powered via USB-C PD (13 W output) while using the camera control functions of the Shinobi II
