The original Tenba padded camera inserts were introduced in the 1980s. The design was very simple and after an update and relaunch in 2014, they became the BYOB collection - Bring Your Own Bag.

The BYOB can be carried on its own and now has a better outer material. This makes the BYOB more durable and water resistant. Tenba has also upgraded the design to look more premium. Furthermore, the BYOB collection was produced without PVC and has therefore been designed more environmentally friendly.
