This very flexible backpack offers four access points for every situation. Thanks to the two side access points, quick access is possible without removing the backpack - ideal for left-handed users. The wide top access is perfect for longer telephoto lenses: you can insert and remove your equipment without opening the entire backpack. Full rear access makes it easy to stow assembled video sets or parts for the other access points.

Innovative divider system

The ProTactic BP 450 AW III features a new divider system with pressed ends for seamless all-round attachment. This allows you to extend and reconnect the dividers as required for changing equipment. Thanks to newly designed corners, the dividers can be adapted even better to the angled or rounded corners of the bag to avoid gaps. MaxFit dividers allow precise placement and increase storage space.

Compartments for laptop and accessories

Inside the rear access are clear zippered compartments and a CradleFit laptop compartment for a MacBook Pro up to 16". The large stretch outer compartments at the side access points hold 1-liter bottles and are also suitable for tripods thanks to the reinforced underside. Additional loops and compartments at the top of the sides allow quick access to items and secure tripod attachment. The backpack stays upright on its own, making it easier to handle and access your gear.

Modular SlipLock attachment system and accessories

The hybrid webbing attachment system runs from the front to the top of the backpack and to the belt. This hybrid system is compatible with our wider SlipLock straps and standard MOLLE or PALS pouches. The following accessories are included and can be attached to the SlipLock system: 1 zippered pocket, 1 drawstring pocket for a 1-liter bottle or tripod feet and 2 straps with new, precisely fitting fastening hooks for secure attachment, 1 All Weather Cover (AWC).

Comfort

The ProTactic BP 450 AW III is designed for comfort with a dual density ActivZone harness system, an adjustable sternum strap and a removable padded hip belt. The molded EVA back panel with perforation and wave pattern improves air circulation, while the additional lumbar support provides extra support, especially when carrying a laptop. Two handles on the back panel, together with the top and bottom handles, facilitate access when the backpack is stowed in the luggage compartment when traveling.

Sustainability and durability

The ProTactic BP 450 AW III is made from up to 86% recycled materials (by weight), which reduces the environmental impact. Thorough laboratory and field testing ensures that these materials meet performance and durability requirements and that you can rely on the bag's longevity. Certain parts such as the hip belt and AWC are replaceable. This ensures a long service life and reduces the environmental impact.
