Details
The Large Mirrorless Core Unit provides shockproof protection for mirrorless, SLR and DSLR cameras and lenses, ensuring that the user does not carry more padding and weight than necessary. It fits seamlessly into the side access of the Action X30 and Explore V2 30 backpacks and maximizes the internal volume for gear in both backpacks. It also fits every available Shimoda backpack and scooter except the Explore V2 25.
It includes all the popular features of our Core Unit system, including EVA-laminated dividers and sidewalls, a lightweight and versatile removable skin, and an aluminum frame for added rigidity and support
.The Mirrorless depth is ideal for mirrorless and gripless DSLR cameras up to 12cm tall and lenses longer than a 70-200mm 2.8
.Mirrorless/DSLR Body Fit - The Mirrorless depth is ideal for mirrorless and gripless DSLR cameras up to 12 cm tall.
The shorter depth allows for more efficient packing scenarios and results in a lower profile with your backpack. Mirrorless size fits cameras like the Fuji X-T4 and Sony a7 series, but can also accommodate the similar dimensions of the Canon 5D.
Quick side camera access - fits seamlessly into the side access of the Action X30 and Explore V2 30 backpacks and maximizes internal volume for gear in both backpacks.
It also fits into any available Shimoda backpack and roller except the Explore V2 25.
Modular Stacking - The Large Mirrorless Core Unit can be placed above or below another Core Unit to modularly increase the gear volume of a large backpack
.Lightweight, waterproof and versatile cover - The included cover is primarily a storage bag for the padded Core Units, ideal for when your gear is at home and not in use. It keeps the Core Unit sealed and dust free. Its secondary function is to be used as a packing cell. The user can fill it with clothing or other common items and pack it into their backpack or carry-on roll.
EVA protective cover and dividers - Walls and dividers are made of EVA, which ensures much greater protection than cheaper PE foams used in most camera bags. With EVA we have greater control over the density and quality of the materials used to protect your equipment. This also means that our walls can be thinner and require less internal volume while still providing excellent protection
