Rollei Fotoliner Ocean L black
Large photo backpack made from recycled plastic bottles
When it comes to environmental pollution, we want to be part of a change. So that plastic no longer ends up in our oceans, but is recycled into useful products. For our nature, for animals and plants, for our children and grandchildren, for the world's oceans.
For this reason, our new photo backpacks, the "Fotoliner Ocean", are partly made from old 0.5-liter plastic bottles, which are turned into granulate in the recycling process. This recycled plastic granulate is then processed into fabric for our backpacks. For each individual camera backpack, we know exactly how many plastic bottles have been processed into this backpack.
Of course, our backpacks are not packed in plastic, but come in our so-called "Nonwaver". A high-quality fabric bag that also looks really good.
This is our Ocean L photo liner
Our Ocean L photo liner is made from material in which 36 recycled plastic bottles have been processed. Not only is it made in an environmentally friendly way, it also offers space for two to three DSLR or DSLM cameras as well as two to three lenses and photo accessories.
How you divide it up is up to you, as the main camera compartment can be designed with absolute flexibility. All you have to do is rearrange the movable dividers with Velcro fasteners. There is also an SD card compartment. The main camera compartment can be accessed from the back, so your photo equipment is also better protected against theft.
Our Fotoliner Ocean L camera backpack has a laptop/tablet compartment for devices up to 13 inches and also has three mesh pockets and quick camera access on the side. There are also additional compartments at the front so that you can safely stow smaller accessories.
There is a mesh pocket on the outside for small drinking bottles or similar items to quench your thirst and a tripod holder on the front so that you don't have to carry your tripod in your hand on city trips.
Carry is also the key word when it comes to the backpack's padding. It not only flatters your back, but is also breathable so that you can enjoy optimum carrying comfort even on longer trips. The shoulder straps have a chest and lap belt, which guarantees further stability.
And if you're worried about bad weather, we can put your mind at rest. Because the underside comes with feet and a rubber coating that makes it particularly easy to clean if it gets dirty. The zippers are water-repellent and if you get caught in a heavy downpour, all you have to do is pull the rain cover over the backpack, which is stowed in its underside - and voilà: rain is no longer a problem. (Note: the rain cover does not provide sufficient protection in heavy and persistent rain).
By the way: Our photo backpack is ideal as hand luggage.
