Photo Cross 10 Sling Carbon Grey
Unparalleled comfort and protection from the elements
Adventure photographers need a camera bag that's as tough as they are. With their robust materials and ingenious design, the new thinkTank PhotoCross sling bags protect photo equipment on tough trips into the wild.
The PhotoCross are designed to withstand the elements, but are still comfortable enough to be out in the field for a long day. The sling pockets stay on your back when scrambling, but provide quick access to gear when needed. They have weatherproof zippers and are made of abrasion-resistant materials. The loops on the front, together with the included compression straps, serve as attachment points for additional equipment such as a small tripod, hiking poles, a jacket or, for example, a bike helmet. A flexible side pocket holds standard 1 liter drinking bottles. The breathable padding on the back, the integrated hip belt and the carrying strap with hip fin and position adjustment straps at the top and sides ensure carrying comfort. A PUR-coated, seam-sealed rain cover on both sides completes the backpack's features.
Inside, variable dividers ensure the optimum configuration for mirrorless system cameras or DSLRs, and mesh pockets on the inside of the lid for stowing small accessories such as batteries, memory cards and filters. The PhotoCross 10 fits a standard DSLR with two to three lenses, a tablet up to 10" and accessories. Or a mirrorless system camera with up to 5 lenses, a tablet up to 10" and accessories.
"We have managed to merge two concepts in the PhotoCross that are often enough in conflict with the general requirements for outdoor bags: Protection and comfort. Durable, waterproof Tarpaulin tarpaulin has been integrated into a snug, body-hugging design, combined with a wide shoulder strap and a large hip fin for optimum carrying comfort. There is also the option of using a hip belt for further stabilization," says Doug Murdoch, President and Chief Designer of MindShift Gear.
