With the original Retrospective, thinkTANK photo took the market and the photo scene by storm. Now they're going one better with the Retrospective V2.0....
Maintaining the snug, body-hugging design, the new Retros are lighter than the original. The main compartment can now be additionally secured with a zippered lid that can be stowed away in the cover when not in use. Each bag has a dedicated compartment (model dependent) for a tablet or notebook, a rear pass-through that allows the bag to be slid over a trolley handle and a compressible side pocket for a water bottle. The innovative "Sound Silencer" closure has been redesigned and allows for even quieter operation.

If the stowage of an attached 2.8/70-200 mm is indispensable, the Retrospective 20 V2.0 comes into play. It fits a Pro DSLR with 2.8/70-200 mm attached or a 2.8/300 mm not attached, 2.8/24-70 mm, a tablet up to 10" and a notebook up to 12". For example, a Nikon D5 with 2.8/70-200 mm attached, 2.8/24-70 mm, 1.8/50 mm and an SB-5000 AF flash.

Material
The top of the Retrospective V2.0's exterior material is treated with a water-repellent DWR impregnation, while the underside of the material is coated with a water-resistant PUR coating. The material used includes sand-washed 100% cotton canvas, abrasion-resistant YKK RC Fuse zippers, antique metalized brass hardware, nylon webbing and 3-ply nylon thread. Interior: Variable dividers of closed-cell foam - some PE reinforced, 210D Silvertoned Nylon, 300D Polyester Two-Tone Twill Ripstop lining and back PUR coated Velex lining and dividers. Seam-sealed rain cover made of 210T nylon coated on both sides with PUR.
