The Allround Binocular - The Kolibri 8x42
These binoculars with 8x magnification are ideal for long distances - during the day and in low light conditions. The exit pupil of 5.3 mm is in a range that still allows fatigue-free observation. With a featherweight of only 615 g, which is unique for this performance class, the small dimensions of 142/130/49 mm, a field of view of 126 m, which is large for binoculars of this type, and the short close focus range (2.5 m), the possible applications are almost unlimited - for hunting in the forest, field and mountains to observation in the world of birds, flowers and insects.

The new generation
Generation 3 not only comes with a new design with a slimmer bridge, but also with improved optics. In addition to a completely revised and improved optics, among other things, the HDX-FMC coating is now used. In addition, all moving parts such as the diopter, focusing wheel and eyecup are made of robust light metal. Compared to its predecessor, the weight of the 3rd generation has been reduced by almost 40 g.

An elaborate phase correction of the roof prism system ensures brilliant, true-color and high-contrast images. There are hardly any stray light effects with moonlight or backlight. The Kolibri 8x42 uses a true internal focusing system for focusing. Already from a range of 2.5 m, an object can be sharply captured. This works even in the heaviest rain, which is no danger to the binoculars. A nitrogen filling ensures that the Kolibri 8x42 is completely waterproof and fog-free.

Complete field of view for eyeglass wearers
The Kolibri 8x42 features Z-ratchet eyecups made of indestructible light metal. These retractable eyecups allow eyeglass wearers to enjoy the full field of view. The easily adjustable diopter compensation is located on the right eyepiece.
