High resolution
Like no other binoculars, the SHG series from DDoptics combines extremely high image resolution with sharp detail to the very edge of the field of view. Stray light and chromatic aberrations are almost completely suppressed by the use of elaborate processes and the highest quality materials.
Transmission
The SHG binoculars offer the highest possible light transmission of up to 93% (90% - 91% night value and 93% maximum measured value during the day) as well as a completely new visual experience of color brilliance, contrast and brightness. This is made possible by a newly developed FLK glass material from Japan, the mirroring of the prisms with a dielectric, and a coating that has also been newly developed. Field flattener eyepieces reduce the distortion of SHG binoculars precisely so that visible distortion can hardly be provoked, even at the edges, without triggering the notorious globe effect.
Large field of view
The newly developed armoring makes the binoculars of the SHG series almost "stick" to the hands, so that slipping or slipping out of the hand is almost impossible, even in the rain. The fields of view of the SHG binoculars are also premium. In the case of the SHG 8x42, a field of view of 141.75m at 1000m is inspiring, especially with the sharpness of detail right to the very edge.
Waterproof binoculars, anti-fog and focus from 2m
The SHG 8x42 uses a true internal focusing system for focusing. Already from a range of 2m, an object can be captured sharply. This works even in the heaviest rain, which is no danger to the binoculars. A nitrogen filling ensures that the SHG 8x42 is completely waterproof and fog-free.
