DDoptics ULTRAlight 8x42
The binoculars 8x42 Ultralight
The universal hiking and stalking binoculars from DDoptics are also available in the faster 42mm version since August 2015.
Light, small, handy and powerful it should be the universal hiking and stalking binoculars. Of course, the Ultralight binoculars must also be waterproof and robust. And then this small binocular is simply beautiful. Its open bridge virtually invites the hand to wrap firmly around the tube, providing grip and comfort. The coating of the prisms and lenses of the Ultralight binoculars with 42mm objective lens diameter have even been provided with a dielectric. This ensures a bright and pleasant image, and if you do not need the binoculars just once, it disappears quickly in the jacket pocket. The low weight of just under 650g of the Ultralight binoculars does not bother at any time. The best thing about the binoculars, however, is that you like to have them with you.
Ideally suited for outdoor vacations even in advanced twilight
Whether in the mountains or at the North Sea, whether at 15 degrees minus or at 45 degrees in the desert. The waterproof and nitrogen-filled Ultralight simply does it all, and still takes a good picture. Until dusk it helps you to recognize the right path or shows you where one or the other small surprise is hidden, which you would never have discovered without your faithful companion. What is new is that the 8 and 10x42 Ultralight are much more suitable for use in twilight and at night. Here, in addition to the larger lens aperture, there is also a significantly improved transmission.
Price performance writ large!
With the Ultralight 8x42 binoculars we offer an optic that can actually do everything you should expect from such a tiny binocular. An open bridge is hardly or not at all to be found in binoculars of this price range.
Robust design for tough outdoor use
The individual tubes are created from an ultra-hard and shatterproof polycarbonate. Metal alloys are used at all critical points such as the eyecups or the "bend".
Fine mechanics
The focusing wheel runs freely and without play. Not too hard and not too soft and can be easily and unerringly brought to the "point of focus" during fine adjustment. the diopter, which can be operated below the right eyepiece, can be adjusted cleanly and precisely. The eyecups offer four clear "raster steps" whereby both eyeglass wearers and "non-eyeglass wearers" can set the best possible and most comfortable eye relief.
