For anyone who wants to find and safely target game at long distances, the Leica Calonox View thermal imaging camera is the perfect hunting companion - whether during the day or at night and even in the worst weather conditions.

Leica Camera has been known for many years as a manufacturer of digital cameras for the highest demands. Unlike conventional digital cameras, thermal imaging cameras record infrared radiation, which is not visible to the human eye, as a thermal image. The Leica Calonox thermal imaging camera features outstanding, Leica-typical image quality with particularly detailed graduated gray tones, excellent contrast and high detail resolution at all observation distances.

The permanently installed rechargeable battery with a runtime of over 6 hours is particularly well protected against cold and weather conditions thanks to its positioning inside the Calonox camera. The independent product design is oriented towards the user's hunting needs and, due to its cylindrical shape and good operability, integrates excellently into the hunter's equipment - whether mounted or hand-held. Operation with only three buttons is intuitive, user-friendly and reduced to the essentials. The Leica Calonox thermal imaging camera features a fast 42 mm lens.

The excellent detection range of the Leica Calonox "View" is based on a high-end vanadium oxide sensor with 640x512 pixels and 12µm pixel size with outstanding temperature resolution. The 2.5x basic optical magnification provides a large field of view, making it ideal for close-up observations. Using digital zoom up to 10x magnification in combination with the outstanding LCOS display with 1280x960 pixels and Leica's own image processing (Leica Image Optimization - LIO™), no details are hidden even at long distances.

Capture special moments forever.
To capture special observations as a photo or video, the Leica Calonox View has 16 GB of internal memory. With the help of the Calonox View app (coming soon), the stored images can be transferred to the smartphone via WLAN or to the computer via cable. Observations via Live View are also possible with the cell phone.
