The optical performance of the Leica Ultravid HD-Plus 42 has once again been significantly improved in terms of light transmission.

This is due to new coating processes in which special substances are applied to the lenses in an ultra-high vacuum in a so-called high-temperature plasma process. In addition, special SCHOTT glasses with outstanding transmission (SCHOTT HT glasses) are used for the prisms of the binoculars in the new models. The significantly increased light transmission, especially in the blue-violet spectral range, ensures not only higher image brightness but also improved color transmission and significantly enhanced twilight vision.

In addition to the brighter image, the Leica Ultravid HD-Plus 42 binoculars thus offer an increased contrast range in all observation situations - especially in difficult lighting conditions.
