URSUS is the entry-level model in the KITE OPTICS professional roof edge series. It is an easy-to-use all-round binocular designed for everyday use. The optical system benefits from the KITE MHR coating. A coating system that provides a complete multi-coating of all lens surfaces as well as a highly reflective coating of the prism. This results in an excellent color balance and a bright and sharp image.

The KITE URSUS is fully waterproof and nitrogen filled so that no condensation can occur from the inside. The chassis is completely covered with strong rubber armoring to optimally protect the instrument from shocks and vibrations.

COMFORT DESIGN
The soft-touch rubber armoring provides maximum grip in all the right places. The instrument is ultra-lightweight and well-balanced, making it comfortable to hold, handle and carry all day long. The short hinge design allows your fingers to wrap around the barrel and use the instrument with only one hand.

EYecups
The Ursus is equipped with 4-stage metal eyecups to optimize visual comfort with or without glasses. The metal eyecups are covered with soft rubber and are self-removable.

LARGE RIPPED FOCUS WHEEL
The focus wheel has thick ribs that give you the best grip at all times, even when wearing gloves. The wheel turns smoothly for fast and accurate focusing from near to infinity.

ERGONOMICS
