Nikon Forestry Pro II

The Forestry Pro II is a further development of the Forestry Pro model, which has proven itself as a measuring instrument in the forestry industry. The instrument offers an extended measuring range - now between 7.5 and up to 1600 m - with greater accuracy and shorter response time. Thanks to HYPER READ technology, measurement results are shown on the internal display after approximately 0.3 seconds.

Faster and more accurate measurement

The Forestry Pro II makes land surveys easier and more accurate. Thanks to the large distance measurement range between 7.5 and 1600 m and the equally powerful height measurement, the device is equipped for all requirements. Measurements include actual distance, horizontal distance, height, angle and vertical stagger - the difference in height between two objects. Two-point measurement is used when there is a clear view of the base of the subject. Three-point measurement provides accurate measurement even when the base or top of a tree is obscured. HYPER READ provides fast and reliable readings over the entire measurement range and results are displayed instantly - visible in the internal display after approximately 0.3 seconds.

Larger external display with backlight for good readability

You can see your measurement results not only on the internal display while you aim at the target, but also on the external 5.3-cm (2.1-inch) backlit display, making it even easier to see the results. The new display is significantly larger than the previous 4.3 cm (1.7 in.) model and now has three brightness levels for the backlight. It can be adjusted so that results are visible even in the darkest forest.

Log results on the go

You can save up to 250 measurements with the Forestry Pro II and view them later on the external display. The new logging feature records measurements in numerical order so you can return to them and recall them at any time. The Forestry Pro II logs the measurements for you so you don't have to stop and take notes. This allows you to cover larger areas faster.

Switch between targets at the touch of a button

The Target Priority Switch system takes the guesswork out of which target you're measuring distance to. Select the near target measurement mode to measure the distance to the closest object from a group of objects. This allows you to easily select an object against an overlapping background. If you want to measure the distance to the farthest object, select the far target measurement mode. It facilitates target selection in forest areas.

Handy, comfortable and robust

The high-quality monocular with 6x magnification and multi-coating always provides a bright and clear image. The diopter adjustment and large exit pupil distance provide comfortable and convenient viewing even for eyeglass wearers. The compact and lightweight body is waterproof (for up to 10 minutes in up to 1 m depth) and durable. The Forestry Pro II is designed to withstand the harsh weather conditions you face when working outdoors.
