Details
The ZEISS Victory RF is a new premium binocular with integrated laser rangefinder, BIS II ballistic calculator and Bluetooth function for safe shooting at all distances.
At the touch of a button, the rangefinder allows measurement in seconds up to a range of 2,300 meters. Based on the distance to the target, the innovative ballistic calculator calculates, among other things, the correct stopping point, taking into account angle, temperature and air pressure. Thanks to the Bluetooth function, personal ballistic data can be uploaded directly from the ZEISS Hunting App to the Victory RF.
Reduced to the essentials, the Victory RF combines modern and classic design with ergonomic benefits: The Comfort Focus concept impresses with a large focusing wheel embedded in the double-link bridge. The high-performance optics ensure brilliant, bright and razor-sharp images, safely protected by a robust magnesium housing.
The extremely robust, so-called "double-link bridge" made of super-light magnesium guarantees the highest mechanical precision and maximum service life even under the toughest conditions. Extreme robustness was achieved by securely embedding the focusing wheel. The design of the ZEISS Victory RF provides the user with an extremely large holding surface on the lens barrels and thus an unsurpassed natural hand position for maximum image stability. Even when wearing gloves, this is simply an outstanding ergonomic concept.
Thanks to the "Comfort Focus Concept", the conspicuously large focusing wheel is positioned far forward in the bridge and can thus be operated with the index finger in a completely relaxed manner. Supported by the emphatically long gear ratio, the design principle enables effortlessly precise control of the focus point without the need for post-correction.
The metering and menu buttons are ergonomically positioned on the left and right of the lens barrels, eliminating the need for uncomfortable spreading of the fingers to measure distance or change menu settings. The function of the buttons can be changed by the user. The "one-touch principle" enables accurate measurements.
Ballistics
In addition to the nine standard ballistic curves, the user has the option here of storing up to nine further individualized ballistic curves (these can be created and saved in advance in the ZEISS Hunting App) and uploading them to the Victory Rangefinder.
Display data
Seven standard display profiles are predefined in the ZEISS Victory Rangefinder. In the standard profiles, up to two displays are loaded in sequence:
- distance only
- distance + angle
- distance + aquivalent horizontal distance
- distance + high shot in cm/in
- distance + high shot in MOA
- distance + high shot in MIL
- distance + click adjustment
With the help of the ZEISS Hunting App, the user has the option of configuring up to three additional display profiles himself. The user can store up to three different output values per display profile (example: distance + angle + click adjustment). Only the distance is stored as the first output value.
With the help of the ZEISS Hunting App, the user can make all settings of the ZEISS Victory Rangefinder directly on his smartphone in an extremely user-friendly and clear manner and then upload them to his ZEISS Victory Rangefinder. After the individual configuration during the hunt preparation, the user does not need the smartphone during the hunt. All required settings can also be made directly on the ZEISS Victory Rangefinder. Only for creating individual ballistic profiles and display profiles is the ZEISS Hunting App indispensable.
The 42 mm diameter results in a more compact size and light weight, which translates into greater wearing comfort in particular. The ergonomic and compact design (166 mm height), together with the large controls, allows for long and fatigue-free use in the field. The large field of view (135 m/1000 m at 8x magnification) provides the highest level of clarity and reliable observation.
