Ultra-compact design - weighs just 86 g

HERO is 35% smaller and 44% lighter than HERO12 Black, making it handy and compact enough to accompany you on any adventure. You can wear it comfortably on your body or on your equipment or take hand-held shots - and afterwards it fits easily in your backpack or even in your trouser pocket.

Of course, the HERO is a real GoPro and therefore completely waterproof and legendarily robust. Whether you're raging through mud, snow or water (up to a depth of 5 m) or simply exploring nature or a new city, it can take it all.

The GoPro Quik app uses HyperSmooth video stabilization to automatically correct shaky footage. This turns even the shakiest footage into extremely smooth videos, whether you've recorded a bike ride, a skate session or an afternoon at the park with the kids.

2x Slo-Mo

Everything looks even cooler in slow motion. The HERO can capture your action in 2x slo-mo to capture details that can't be seen at full speed.

Easy hands-free shooting

The HERO is ideal for wearing on your body with one of the many GoPro mounts, allowing you to capture incredible footage even when you need your hands to hold on to handlebars, ski poles, a rope or whatever. Once mounted, you can operate it with voice commands for ultimate freedom.

Simply plug in your GoPro to charge while it's connected to your home Wi-Fi. While it charges, your footage is automatically uploaded to the cloud and then turned into a highlight video with matching music and great effects. The videos are automatically sent to your smartphone so you can share them quickly and easily.

Edit your footage with the GoPro Quik app

The GoPro Quik app offers a range of easy-to-use tools to help you edit your footage like a pro. You can customize the highlight videos created by the app or create your own videos from scratch. Editing features for your footage include Zoom, cropping, filters and much more.

Easy transfer + unlimited cloud storage (1)

Transferring photos and videos to your smartphone is a breeze as the Quik app allows wireless uploads. If you use the convenient auto-upload function, you also have unlimited cloud storage at your disposal.
