With 5.3K video, you also have the option to use the GoPro Quik app to extract stunning still images of up to 24.7 MP from your videos.

When it comes to power, the HERO13 Black gives you more options than previous GoPro cameras. The waterproof Contacto Kit with magnetic cable and flap (1) is a quick and easy way to connect your GoPro to an external power source via a magnetic connection. The dual charger + integrated power bank (1) has its own internal battery that can be used to conveniently charge the two Enduro batteries supplied anywhere. You can also connect it directly to your camera for particularly long recording sessions.

More mounting flexibility

The HERO13 Black has three different mounting options, making it particularly versatile. With the new mount with magnetic lock (1), you can switch between different mounts even more quickly and easily. HLG HDR video

The HERO13 Black takes image quality to the next level with the ability to shoot in HLG (Hybrid Log Gamma), a standard HDR format used by professionals for 5.3K and 4K video in 10-bit and Rec. 2100 color spaces. This advanced feature requires a compatible display and media player for playback. Of course, you can still record videos in HDR without HLG if you want to play back the recordings on standard displays and media players.

Widescreen, portrait and full-frame recordings

With the powerful 1/1.9" image sensor of the HERO13 Black, you have even more options. Choose between widescreen shooting (16:9 aspect ratio) for full-screen playback on a TV or vertical video (9:16 aspect ratio) for social media posts. For maximum versatility, the full-frame option (8:7 aspect ratio) captures a 156° field of view that you can later crop to widescreen or portrait.

+ log encoding

With HERO13 Black, you can choose between standard 10-bit color video or log encoding with 10-bit and GP-Log. With 10-bit color, over 1 billion colors can be displayed - offering improved color depth and smoother gradations to make your videos look even more realistic. Advanced users can use GP-Log to capture more detailed footage and make the necessary image corrections in post-production (a look-up table (LUT) is provided).

Timecode Sync

Advanced users using multiple HERO13 Black cameras can now synchronize their cameras with an exact timecode, making it much easier to post-produce footage from multiple cameras. This works with Final Cut Pro, Adobe Premiere and other editing programs - for even more efficient post-production.

27 MP photos and 24.7 MP stills

The HERO13 Black shoots single, interval, continuous and night photos at 27 MP. This allows you to take standard shots, quick action shots and night shots in low light conditions. With the GoPro Quik app, you can also extract stunning 24.7 MP photos of your favorite shots from your videos.

Bluetooth audio connectivity

With Bluetooth audio, you can connect the HERO13 Black wirelessly to compatible devices. A wireless microphone improves audio recording for scene descriptions or interviews. Or connect your GoPro to your wireless earbuds so it can receive your voice commands even when it's in a noisy environment or out of earshot. You can also receive alerts from the camera through your earbuds so you know if it has received your command and is executing it the way you want.

QuikCapture is the fastest and easiest way to start recording as soon as you switch on HERO13 Black. All you need to do is press the shutter button. Plus, you can now put your camera to sleep without turning it off completely - so it's ready for the next shot even faster. The perfect way to always be ready for action shots.

GPS and measurement data stickers

GPS automatically records telemetry data, which you can display as animated graphics in your video using the GoPro Quik app. This allows you to visually display speed, distance, terrain, altitude and G-force, giving your videos an absolutely professional look.

Front + rear LCD display

Find the perfect perspective with the front or rear LCD display. Record scenes in front of you with the large touchscreen on the back. For vlogging and selfies, turn the camera around and take your shots with the display on the front.

More options for presets

Define your own presets in which you record the options for your preferred activities - including resolution, frame rate and lens. You can then call them up conveniently with just a few taps. To quickly find them again, you can give your presets individual names either directly in the camera or in the GoPro Quik app.

You can customize the highlight videos automatically created by the app or create your own videos from scratch. Transferring content from your camera to your smartphone is now even easier and faster. The HERO13 Black uses Wi-Fi 6 technology for faster and more reliable transfer to your smartphone and to the cloud. To transfer your content to a computer, you can use a lightning-fast USB cable connection5 or the SD card. If you use the convenient auto-upload function, you also benefit from unlimited cloud storage. Videos and photos with night effects

The HERO13 Black has three new time-lapse and photo modes that let you get creative after dark. Startrails mode uses the Earth's rotation and stars to capture beautiful light trails in the night sky. With "Light Painting" you can create brilliant brushstroke effects with moving lights. "Auto light trails" records impressive light trails with night-time traffic.

Power tools

The power tools integrated in the camera make every shot a success. HindSight captures the scene up to 30 seconds before you start shooting - just in case you press the shutter button too late. With scheduled recordings, you can set your GoPro to switch on and record automatically up to 24 hours in advance. If you set a recording duration, you can easily record video clips from 15 seconds to 3 hours long. The interval photo function takes photos at fixed intervals while you concentrate on your activities.

Simple or professional operating functions

You can choose between convenient point-and-shoot functions or full camera control. With the simple control functions, all you have to do is select the desired image section and press the shutter button to achieve amazing results. The professional control functions give you the ability to really change all modes and functions.

Webcam + Livestreaming

The HERO9 and 10 Black are rugged and waterproof anyway, but this solid housing can handle anything. It protects against dirt and flying debris during intense activities - and it's waterproof up to 60 meters, making it perfect for deep sea dives.
