Impossible shots

The X3 is changing the way content creators approach the creative process. Videos can be edited in an infinite number of different ways by first shooting them in 360° and reframing them later. This makes it easier than ever to capture the best moments, whether you're chasing a big wave or landing a difficult trick. Simply pick up the camera, start recording and align everything later in the Insta360 app. Thanks to the 360° recording, a 4:5 Instagram post becomes a 9:16 TikTok video with a tap of the finger without cutting anything off the image.

The 360° video quality of the X3 has also improved with the new Active HDR mode, which is supported by the camera's new 1/2" sensor. Active HDR uses an innovative algorithm to stabilize action shots, minimize ghosting and detect details that other action cams miss in overexposed and underexposed areas.

The dual lens design enables effects such as the invisible selfie stick. Here, the stick is automatically cropped out of the footage, creating impossible third-person views. With the new first-person mode, epic invisible selfie shots can now be taken at 60 frames per second without reframing. In this mode, the shots are aligned so that the content creator is in focus while the selfie stick remains invisible. Never before have invisible selfie stick shots been possible without first shooting in 360° and reframing later.

Improved image quality

The 1/2" sensor of the Insta360 X3 offers significantly improved resolution and image quality compared to its predecessor. If you already have a clear idea for your content that only requires one angle of view, the single lens mode is unbeatable. Now with 4K resolution, this mode delivers even higher resolution and is perfect for experiencing the action from a first-person perspective, especially when shooting with the camera at chest level. The new 170° MaxView ultra-wide angle view is now available in 2.7K for even more immersive POVs.

The X3 offers the most megapixels ever in a 360° action cam with 72MP photos for ultra-detailed stills. 8K 360° time-lapse is perfect for city and landscape shots.

Bullet Time, the matrix-like slow motion effect made possible by panning the camera in a circle over your head, has also been improved in resolution and frame rates to 4K 120 fps and 3K 180 fps.

Ready for action

The X3's six-axis gyro and FlowState stabilization ensure that videos remain ultra-stable through all the action. Where other action cams reach their limits at 45°, 360° Horizon Lock keeps the horizon straight, even when the camera is turned upside down.

The Insta360 X3 is waterproof up to 10 m and a lens protector is available for action sports enthusiasts who want to test their limits.

Even if you don't know when the action will happen, the X3 will capture it. The new loop recording mode turns the X3 into a dashcam that continuously records video but only saves the last few minutes at a set interval, saving valuable memory card space.

Simple operation

The Insta360 X3 retains the same shape as its predecessors while offering important improvements that make it easier to use, especially during action:

• A 2.29-inch tempered glass touchscreen enables intuitive settings and previews.

• The four buttons make it easy to control shots even when wearing gloves.

• Directional focus audio ensures that the sound follows the action, even if the image section is changed.

• A large new 1800mAh battery provides the camera with plenty of power during the action.

AI-supported editing

The Insta360 mobile app uses AI technology to simplify content creation and provide content creators with tools and effects that would otherwise take years of experience. In the Shot Lab, there are more than 30 viral effects that can be edited with just a few taps - from the fun Nosemode to the new cinematic Street Lapse to the simply cool Sky Swap.

Whether the cell phone is moved in the desired direction with the Snap Wizard, an object is tracked with Deep Track 2.0 or the AI picks out the highlights with Auto Frame is up to the creator. Photos can also be given a magical touch with the new Photo Animator, which animates a static photo.

For creators who prefer a desktop workflow, Insta360 Studio is available to download for precise control and maximum resolution.

INSTA360 One R Bullet-Time Bundle

Bullet-time shots are incredible. To get stunning shots, simply swing the ONE R or ONE X over your head. Activate the bullet-time mode on the camera, grab the handle and let it rotate smoothly at one revolution per second.

Notes:

1. The invisible selfie stick has a 1/4" standard thread and is specially reinforced for use with the Bullet-Time grip. Using the Bullet-Time Handle with a non-reinforced selfie stick may cause damage to the camera. Please make sure that you use the Bullet-Time handle with a special selfie stick marked "Designed for Bullet-Time".
2. The Bullet-Time Handle can also function as an indoor table tripod and is designed for use on smooth and flat surfaces. The tripod is not suitable for outdoor use or as an extension pole for the selfie stick.
