The history of the sardine can
The Lomography La Sardina camera traces its roots back to the Kandor Candid camera, developed by the Irwin Corporation in the 1930s! The Kandor was part of a family of original cameras that took the design of sardine cans - only with a camera inside! These cameras were filled with 127 film, which was very popular in the 1950s, and sold in drugstores and supermarkets. With the La Sardina, you're holding an innovative successor to this analog relic. Lomography has packed a whole load of Lomographic madness into it, making this camera just right for serious experimentation fun.
