Sony CyberShot DSC-RX100 VI
A fast ZEISS Vario-Sonnar T
24-200mm F2.8 to F4.5 Zoomlens, ultra-fast autofocus with a response time of just 0.03 seconds, 315 phase autofocus points covering about 65 percent of the sensor: The RX100 VI shows what compact cameras are capable of today. The stacked, one-inch Exmor RS CMOS image sensor with 20.1 megapixels plus DRAM chip and revised BIONZ X image processor with front-end LSI enable up to 24 frames per second thanks to concentrated computing power - with continuous focus tracking, of course. The optical image stabilizer compensates for up to four aperture stops. Fans of 4K videos get their money's worth thanks to full pixel readout without pixel binning. *Building compact cameras is one thing. Filling them to the brim with innovations is another. With the new RX100 VI, Sony introduces a new noble compact camera that, compared to its sister models, comes up trumps in many new areas. For the first time, a model in the RX100 series features a ZEISS Vario-Sonnar T* 24-200 mm F2.8 to F4.5 lens. This opens up completely new possibilities for subject selection - without sacrificing image quality or compactness.
For maximum processing speed and optimal image quality in all shooting conditions, the new model flaunts a stacked Exmor RS™ CMOS image sensor (1.0-inch type) with 20.1 megapixels, DRAM chip and enhanced BIONZ X image processor with front-end LSI. In addition, the RX100 VI offers a hybrid AF system with 315 phase autofocus points. At 0.03 seconds response time, no camera with 1.0" inch sensor is faster today. Thanks to concentrated computing power, it's also no wonder that the camera can write up to 24 frames per minute to the memory card with continuous focus tracking. 4K videos at full pixel readout and without pixel binning round out the feature set in terms of moving images as well.
New 24-200 mm Zoom lens
entire focal length range, the RX100 VI remains fast. This makes portraits with a real bokeh effect possible. Autofocus is fast and reliable for all subjects. The optical image stabilizer "Optical SteadyShot" helps to compensate for slow shutter speeds up to four f-stops. This results in razor-sharp images even in difficult lighting situations at long focal lengths.
Ultra-fast autofocus and ultra-fast shooting
For the first time in an RX100 series camera, Sony has given the latest offspring High Density Tracking technology. Thanks to it, many autofocus points are active around the captured subject, allowing every movement to be tracked at lightning speed. Furthermore, the eye autofocus reliably hits the iris of each model if desired. All in all, the autofocus tracking is twice as good as in the sisters of the RX100 VI. Speaking of autofocus, those who like can conveniently set the autofocus point via the touch-sensitive monitor.
The camera captures up to 24 images per second - for a maximum of 233 photos in succession. Sony has also significantly upgraded the viewfinder. It reacts much faster than that of all other models. So no photographer will miss the decisive moment. And so that no one loses track of large image series, the camera can arrange continuous images in groups if desired.
The fastest shutter speed of the "Anti-Distortion Shutter" is 1/32000 second. The electronic shutter works completely silently in all modes if desired. Those who prefer to shoot with a mechanical shutter can of course do so as well.
Advanced video functions including 4K HDR
Even with videos, the "Fast Hybrid Phase Autofocus" grips reliably and guarantees sharp images even with 4K videos. Users of the camera can also adjust the response sensitivity of the autofocus and object tracking as desired via the menu.
In 4K mode, the RX100 VI reads all pixels - without pixel binning. This preserves even the smallest details in 4K videos. The RX100 VI is the first Cyber-shot camera to enable 4K HDR videos directly from the camera. Among other things, it features the Hybrid Log-Gamma (HLG) image profile with HDR direct workflow solution for this purpose. Other professional video features include S-Log3/S-Gamut3, 120p Full HD mode, picture profile, proxy recording control and more. The RX100 VI enables video capture in Super Slow Motion at 240, 480 or 960 frames per second.
High-quality design, excellent control and high comfort
The RX100 VI is also the first camera in Sony's RX series to allow the shutter release to be used via the touch display. The convenient Zoomlever allows flexible control of Zoomspeed. The monitor can be tilted 180 degrees up or 90 degrees down. Automatic display shut-off increases battery power by up to 30 percent. The camera is Wi-Fi, NFC and Bluetooth compatible.
SmallRig 2434 Cage for Sony RX100 VII/ RX100 VI
SmallRig 2434 Cage for Sony RX100 VII and RX100 VI camera is designed to provide protection and accessory mounts for your camera. The cage is secured around the lens mount with an M5 screw, maintaining access to the battery compartment. Multiple 1/4"-20 accessory threads around the cage allow mounting of a 1984 Top Handle, 2070 Magic Arm for monitor, and other camera accessories.
The form-fitting cage features a cold shoe on the top and right side for microphone or light, making vloggers' jobs much easier. The wooden handle increases the distance between the grip and lens for a comfortable hold. There are six 1/4"-20 tripod threads on the bottom, allowing you to mount a tripod, QR plate and handle without obstructing the battery cover.
