Details
The long-awaited EOS 5D Mark IV is here, offering consistently professional performance and stunning image quality.
Details matter
The 30.4-megapixel full-frame CMOS sensor delivers low-noise images with tremendous detail, even in high brightness or darkness. With the higher resolution, nothing is lost and you can crop the image as needed without loss of quality.
Exceptional low-light shooting
Low-light characteristics have been optimized across the entire ISO range: Image noise has been significantly reduced and the maximum sensitivity has been increased to ISO 32,000 (expandable to ISO 102,400). This makes it possible to record reliably with high image quality even in low light.
In an instant
With the 61-point AF system that can track even abrupt movements, you'll always have the action in focus. To do this, the EOS 5D Mark IV's 61 AF points1 have been spread over a wider area - an 8 percent expansion in the vertical direction and a 24 percent expansion in the horizontal direction. This increases freedom in subject placement choices for image composition.
Fast focus tracking even in low-light conditions
An extremely sensitive AF sensor provides the EOS 5D Mark IV's focusing performance, which is assured down to -3 EV2. In Live View mode, the Dual Pixel CMOS AF is even sensitive down to -4 EV3.
First-class AF precision, even with long Zooms.
Nature and sports photographers often need to work with super telephoto lenses and extenders to get full-frame images of their subjects. With 61 AF points, 21 of which are cross-type sensors up to f/1:81, precise focusing becomes much easier.
150,000-pixel exposure metering sensor
To perform precise metering, the EOS 5D Mark IV uses a dedicated 150,000-pixel metering sensor (RGB + IR). This sensor also works with the camera's AF system to detect and track color subjects and faces.
One processor for the right performance
At the heart of the EOS 5D Mark IV is the fast DIGIC 6+ processor that controls the camera. This includes converting sensor data into high-quality image data that features high detail, low noise, accurate colors and natural skin tones.
Capture every moment in the frame
The EOS 5D Mark IV enables continuous shooting at up to 7 frames per second with full AF and auto exposure for up to 21 RAW images or an unlimited number of JPEGs in a sequence. So you're always ready for the next shot. In Live View mode, continuous shooting is possible at up to 4.3 fps with AF tracking. So you're always ready for the next shot.
Rugged and reliable
The EOS 5D Mark IV offers optimized protection against the elements and a sturdy magnesium alloy construction. This means it's safe to use even in tough conditions. With a lighter weight than the EOS 5D Mark III, the EOS 5D Mark IV is specifically designed for more reliable and longer shooting performance.
Crystal clear images
Capture your movie moments with the EOS 5D Mark IV's remarkable sensor to bring more detail and clarity to every scene. With options to shoot in high-definition 4K or Full HD at a variety of frame rates that include slow-motion 60 fps, the world of DSLR filming is a bit more accessible with the Canon EOS 5D Mark IV just got a little bit better.
Seamless integration
Built-in Wi-Fi with NFC allows for quick connection to a compatible smartphone, tablet or laptop and to a selected image service. This is ideal for quickly sending images to clients or sharing on social networks. Support for FTP/FTPS is ideal when shooting in locations where Wi-Fi is available and more security is required.
Connected to the world
Built-in GPS allows you to tag your shots with location data and ensures that the EOS 5D Mark IV's internal clock is accurately set. It's now also much more power efficient, so you can shoot longer with GPS. GPS location data helps organize your shots and allows you to track your shooting route or find a specific shooting location again.

The Tamron 24-70mm G2 is a fast F/2.8 Zoom and has been extensively redesigned compared to its predecessor to offer the highest image quality and performance.
The new Dual MPU (Micro Processing Unit) enables faster autofocus with improved accuracy and world-class image stabilization*1 (CIPA standards of 5 stops).
Tamrons exclusive eBAND coating reduces flare and light reflections inside the lens. Even when shooting backlit, the new Tamron SP 24-70mm F/2.8 Di VC USD G2 achieves flawless, brilliant image results. In addition, the front lens of the A032 model features a water- and grease-repellent fluorine coating. The Tamron SP 24-70mm F/2.8 Di VC USD G2 is protected against splash water and dust ingress at all critical points with special seals. Discerning photographers can use the new fast Zoom lens for a wide range of applications, including landscape, portrait, reportage, travel and more.
Outstanding performance andsuperiorimage quality
The use of special, high-quality glass materials ensures accurate color reproduction and superior sharpness, perfect for the demands of today's high-end camera sensors. The optical design (17 elements in 12 groups) uses 2 XR (Extra Refractive Index) elements, 3 LD (Low Dispersion) elements, 3 GM (Glass-Molded aspherical) elements and a hybrid aspherical lens element.
The high-performance lenses minimize image errors such as chromatic aberrations (color fringes), to which fast Zoom lenses are somewhat more susceptible, while ensuring uniformly high image quality across the entire image area.
Optimized eBAND Coating
All lens elements feature eBAND (Extendes Bandwidth & Angular-Dependency) coating, further developed by Tamron specifically for the SP 24-70mm G2. This technology combines a conventional multi-coating and an ultra-low refractive index nano-coating.
The high anti-reflective properties of this combination provide very effective anti-reflective coating of the lens surfaces, minimizing stray light and light reflections inside the lens. Even with backlit shots, brilliant image results are achieved with the new Zoom lens.
Dual-MPU (Micro-Processing Unit) for faster and more precise autofocus and improved image stabilization
The innovative control system uses a dual-MPU design with improved processing power. With this design, autofocus and image stabilization do not share one MPU, but are each controlled by their own processor. This results in faster and more accurate autofocus performance, as well as more powerful image stabilization. In combination, low-light performance has also been improved.
High-performance MPU improves autofocus accuracy and speed
The 24-70mm G2 is equipped with a USD (Ultrasonic Silent Drive) motor to ensure excellent focusing speed and accuracy. The use of a stand-alone MPU enables fast digital signal processing to achieve excellent responsiveness and very precise autofocus control.
The new MPU delivers the highest image stabilization in its class
The new lens is equipped with Tamrons proven VC (Vibration Compensation) image stabilization. The Dual MPU combined with the latest stabilization algorithm ensures the highest stabilization in this lens class*1: 5 stops according to CIPA standards. Even in low light or at slow shutter speeds, photographers can enjoy sharp shots with ease and comfort.
Weather-sealed body and fluorine coating
The body of the SP 24-70mm G2 is protected against the ingress of splashing water and dust with special seals at all critical points. The lens can be used in any weather as well as in humid and dirty environments without hesitation.
The front lens is coated with a water- and grease-repellent fluorine coating. This makes the outer surface particularly easy to clean and insensitive to fingerprints, moisture or damage from adhering dirt particles.
Electromagnetic diaphragm
The model variant with Nikon connection is now equipped with an electromagnetically controlled diaphragm unit. This allows even more precise exposure, as the diaphragm blades open and close very precisely. This function was already integrated as standard in models with a Canon mount.
Compatible with Tamron TAP-in console, optionally available
Tamron's TAP-in console allows the Zoom lens to be customized to the photographer's individual needs. A software application and USB connection to the computer can be used to update firmware and adjust autofocus and image stabilization.
