Extensive lens selection
Thanks to the revolutionary Canon RF bayonet, the EOS R5 C is compatible with RF lenses that offer state-of-the-art AF and tremendous stabilization, and it can also be used with EF photo and cinema lenses via EF-EOS R adapters. Anamorphics are supported with options for 2x, 1.8x and 1.3x equalization. Advanced 5-axis electronic IS works both seamlessly with and independently of the lenses' optical IS for stable and steady shooting.

Fast, precise and reliable focusing
The EOS R5 C features groundbreaking Canon Dual Pixel CMOS AF technology with Eye Detection AF and EOS iTR AF X for precise and reliable face, head and eye tracking - even when the subject is facing away from the camera. Innovative Dual Pixel Focus Guide from Canon provides precise visual assistance with manual focusing for razor-sharp shots.

Extensive professional shooting formats and tools
Numerous shooting formats are available for internal recording, including three Cinema RAW Light options (LT / ST / HQ), XF-AVC, MP4, and even RAW output is possible via HDMI. Canon Log 3, PQ and HLG recording are available for extended dynamic range, and professional tools such as Waveform Monitor and False Color Display are also available.

Compact, lightweight design with active cooling
The EOS R5 C is an extremely compact and lightweight Cinema EOS camera. It features a high-resolution OLED viewfinder, a bright 3.2-inch rotating and tilting LCD display, and 13 configurable buttons. A new active cooling system enables video recording with long recording time, while the magnesium alloy body ensures professional durability.

Plenty of connectivity options
Thanks to WLAN (*4), Bluetooth®, and the multi-function accessory shoe (*5), as well as timecode, 3.5mm mic input, headphones, micro-HDMI, flash sync, and USB-C, the EOS R5 C is ready for anything. Explanation of the new technologies

Internal 8K RAW recording
The EOS R5 C can record stunning 8K DCI RAW video at up to 30p (up to 60p with external power) internally to a CFexpress card (*1), using the full width of its full-frame sensor to achieve a true cinematic look. Focus tracking is also available to keep shots looking professional at all times. 8K RAW offers the ultimate in image quality and flexibility: resolution is four times higher than 4K, and you can adjust parameters like white balance after shooting with Canon Cinema RAW development software or your favorite editing software.

4K 120p HFR recording
In addition to 8K video recording options, the EOS R5 C lets you shoot 4K DCI (full-frame) and 4K UHD at frame rates up to 120fps in 4:2:2/10-bit quality with autofocus and audio. This allows for impressive, smooth slow-motion shooting at tremendous resolution. The EOS R5 C also features oversampling of full-frame sensor data for exceptional 4K and Full HD clarity with increased sharpness and color fidelity, and significantly reduced noise.

Internal cooling for long shooting times
The EOS R5 C features internal cooling. Here, a brand new design ensures that the heat generated is dissipated via an integrated fan with an exhaust on the back. This clever technology enables the smallest and handiest Cinema EOS camera from Canon Long-time shooting in 8K.
