Nikon Z6 II Body
The Z 6II builds on the success of the Z 6. In addition to its ruggedness and ease of use, it offers the ability to shoot professional-quality movie sequences. Added to this is its photographic performance. The camera is resistant to dust and dripping water, making it suitable for continuous shooting even under adverse conditions. Thanks to the new ability to freely select the direction of rotation of the focusing ring, users can focus manually in the usual way.
Videos can be output by the camera for FX and DX image formats in 4K/UHD and Full HD. Meanwhile, the HLG recording format records more detail, wider dynamic range, and higher contrast. Post-processing becomes largely unnecessary as a result. Eye AF and Animal Detection AF enhancements provide more precise subject focus, even when shooting video.
These AF functions also provide excellent results when shooting stills, keeping pace with the camera's increased speed and performance. The Z 6II supports continuous shooting at 14 fps and a higher maximum number of shots: 200 JPEGs or 124 images losslessly compressed in 12-bit RAW format in one shooting burst.
The Z 6II is aimed at users who want to capture cinema-quality movie footage as well as still images with a compact system. The camera is ideal for professional video production or, for example, wedding photography, where agility, flexibility and uncompromising imaging performance are essential.
Nikon-Z bayonet
Both cameras use the Nikon-Z bayonet, which allows light to reach the far corners of the image sensor. Combined with the growing selection of NIKKOR-Z lenses or the more than 300 compatible NIKKOR lenses with F bayonet that can be attached to the FTZ bayonet adapter, Nikon's tradition of optical excellence and innovation reaches unprecedented new heights.

Tamron 70-300mm f4.5-6.3 Di III RXD Nikon Z
The 70-300mm F4.5-6.3 is Tamron's first telephoto Zoom lens with a 300mm focal length for full-frame mirrorless cameras with Nikon Z mount. It combines a compact design and light weight with exceptionally high image quality. In doing so, the engineers aimed to make telephoto photography an effortless pleasure for photographers, regardless of their experience level. The lens features a moisture-resistant construction for added protection when shooting outdoors, and Tamron's proprietary BBAR (Broad-Band Anti-Reflection) coating prevents quality-degrading reflections inside the lens barrel. In addition, the Nikon Z-mount compatible 70-300mm F4.5-6.3 can be used with the dedicated Tamron Lens UtilityTM software. The telephoto zoom makes it easier than ever to zoom in on distant subjects. The long focal length is not only suitable for sports, wildlife and nature photography, it also provides a flattering perspective for portrait and street photography.
High image quality and light weight - the ideal telephoto zoom for on the go
The goal in developing the 70-300mm F4.5-6.3 was to create a lens that makes telephoto photography easier and more comfortable. The engineers' top priorities were therefore low weight and compact dimensions. To achieve this, the optical design was optimized on the computer and state-of-the-art technologies were used in the construction. Without sacrificing image quality, it was thus possible to develop a surprisingly lightweight (580 g) as well as compact, slim lens with a maximum diameter of 77 mm. The optical system comprises 15 elements in ten groups, including a high-precision LD (low dispersion) element for correcting color aberration and other optical errors that typically occur at telephoto focal lengths. Regardless of the focal length selected, images are brilliant and sharp. Even at 300mm, resolution is very high all the way to the corners of the image. This lens is also ideal for users who want to reduce the weight of their luggage, for example, when hiking in nature.
Outstanding optical performance
The optical design of the 70-300mm F4.5-6.3 is based on elaborate simulations using the latest design technologies and strikes a balance between compact size and high image quality. The optical design includes 15 elements in 10 groups, with a low dispersion (LD) lens element precisely positioned to effectively suppress axial chromatic as well as other aberrations that can occur with telephoto zoom lenses. At 300mm, a commonly used telephoto focal length, the lens design delivers excellent resolution right into the corners of the image. Thanks to Tamron's BBAR coating, which is world-renowned for its anti-reflective performance, the new Zoom lens produces extremely sharp and clear images throughout the Zoom range.
Quiet autofocus with RXD technology
The autofocus is based on an exceptionally quiet RXD (Rapid eXtra-silent stepping Drive) stepping motor. The autofocus system features a sensor that determines the current focus setting of the lens. This ensures fast and precise automatic focusing. Even with fast-moving subjects, the focus is continuously tracked. The autofocus works very quietly so that no disturbing focusing noises are recorded during video recordings.
Dedicated TAMRON Lens Utility software
Also with the Nikon Z version of the 70-300mm F4.5-6.3, users can take advantage of Tamron's proprietary Lens Utility software. The software here allows users to easily update the lens to the latest firmware themselves without having to go through the camera, providing a quick and easy way to update when newer firmware is available.
Weather sealed construction
The bayonet ring and other critical areas of the lens body are sealed against moisture and splashing water. This added protection allows photography even in adverse weather conditions.
