Especially in star photography, fast wide-angle lenses are often chosen as they can make efficient use of low light. The 14-24mm F2.8 DG DN Art was developed as the ultimate wide-angle lens with a large diameter by optimizing the standard technical data for star photography for mirrorless full-frame cameras.

The uniform imaging performance and excellent resolution right to the edge of the image make it the "definitive lens for astrophotography". This new generation Zoomlarge diameter lens takes advantage of the short flange focal length to combine a compact body with unprecedented high-resolution image quality.

One FLD glass element and five SLD glass elements are arranged to suppress chromatic aberrations to the edge of the image.
