Sigma fp body
Featuring a high-resolution 35mm full-frame sensor with 24.6 effective megapixels, the extremely compact SIGMA fp offers tremendous versatility and adaptability for any shooting situation - both photo and video.
What's more, the new SIGMA fp's light weight, rugged and protected body, and compact dimensions make it ideal for taking anywhere, anytime, and capturing images and video in the highest image quality.
Full-frame for your pocket - impressive mobility and performance
The SIGMA fp currently has the smallest and lightest body of all full-frame cameras with interchangeable lens mount, making it ideal for being there at every shooting opportunity. The large sensor plays to its strengths in all subject situations and delivers images and videos at the highest level. This makes the SIGMA fp the optimal linchpin in a high-performance L-mount lens system.
Variable - versatile connection options
The SIGMA fp is extremely connection-friendly and offers a versatile and highly compatible system for numerous lenses and accessories - both from SIGMA and other brands. This allows the world's smallest and lightest full-frame camera to be optimally adapted to virtually any shooting situation.
Fluent - full-featured shooting functions with all the freedom you need
The SIGMA fp has a very intuitive, easy-to-understand and highly customizable user interface including a specially developed operating system. The highlight is the smooth transition between photo and video recording. This allows intuitive switching between modes with the flick of a switch.
Robust and lightweight aluminum housing
The camera housing of the SIGMA fp is dust- and splash-proof in a total of 42 places. Combined with a dust- and splash-proof lens, the SIGMA fp is capable of operating in rain, sandstorms and other challenging conditions.
Full-frame sensor
Equipped with a back-illuminated 35mm full-frame Bayer sensor with 24.6 effective megapixels, the SIGMA fp is capable of capturing high-resolution images.
Screw thread for camera strap and tripod
The SIGMA fp is equipped with 1/4-inch threads for both the strap holder on either side of the body, and for a tripod. This provides greater freedom when using the camera, in combination with a tripod.
Sigma 35mm f1.2 DG DN (Art) L-mount
First wide-angle AF lens with a maximum aperture of F1.2 for the full-frame L-mount system. This lens enables artwork with amazing resolution and great bokeh, such as portraits with shallow depth of field. It takes the Art product line's development concept - "striving for the highest image quality" - to the next level. By taking full advantage of the camera's in-camera optical correction function, difficult-to-rework aberrations are fully corrected thanks to the optical design, improving resolution.
The Art product line in the mirrorless camera era aims for the highest performance with a focal length of 35mm and also achieves a maximum aperture of F1.2, with three SLD glass elements and three aspherical lenses including a double-sided aspherical lens optimally arranged in a lens design of 17 elements in 12 groups. In addition to its optical design that takes advantage of the short flange focal length characteristic, it effectively employs the in-camera correction function to correct distortion and vignetting. Various aberrations that are difficult to correct through post-processing - sagittal coma, for example - are fully corrected by the compilation of SIGMA's proprietary optical design technologies, achieving a stunning resolution of over 50 million pixels.
For a large-diameter F1.2 lens, convenient autofocus photography is achieved by the large Hyper-Sonic Motor (HSM), which achieves the rotational power desired and required to control the focus lens group. For manual photography, the focus ring driven by the focus-by-wire system responds to fine adjustments made by the photographer with the optimized rotational force setting. In addition, the aperture ring is equipped with an anti-click function that eliminates clicks and allows for transition-free operation, which is especially useful when shooting video.
The aperture ring is also equipped with a de-click function that allows clicks to be adjusted with the ON / OFF switch. This allows seamless adjustment of the aperture, which is especially useful during video recording. In addition, the AFL button, which can be assigned different functions, extends the working range of the lens.
In addition, the lens features a dust and splash resistant design, as well as a water and oil repellent coating on the front lens, which further supports shooting in various environments.
