61 megapixels. The highest resolution.
For the SIGMA fp L, Sigma has leveraged its expertise in Foveon sensor image processing technology.
With its extremely high resolution, the SIGMA fp L lets your imagination run wild and includes a low-pass filter to further enhance optical performance.
The SIGMA fp L features a Bayer sensor with approximately 61 effective megapixels, which is higher resolution than any SIGMA camera before it. In addition to images with fine detail, the fp L can produce images that are high-resolution and rich in color thanks to its extremely high pixel count and Sigma's experience in developing cameras with a Foveon sensor. Because of its image quality, which is essentially free of color artifacts, the heritage of the Foveon sensor was also behind the decision that the fp L should have a low-pass filter to keep moiré to a minimum.
Crop Zoom function.
Higher resolution. Greater freedom.
Every photo is your dream photo.
A high pixel count means images can be extremely zoomed or cropped. This was one aspect of an ultra-high pixel camera that prompted Sigma to give the fp L a Zoom function that works in both STILL and CINE modes. Thanks to its 61 megapixels, the fp L can also shoot at a maximum of 5x Zoom in full HD quality. Since this is achieved simply by cropping without digital enhancement, image quality does not suffer. The Zoom function can be controlled directly and intuitively via the screen.
Never miss a moment again.
Hybrid autofocus - contrast autofocus and phase autofocus.
In addition to high-precision contrast AF, the SIGMA fp L features fast phase AF. With this hybrid AF, you can enjoy smooth autofocus that is highly accurate, fast, and great for tracking a moving subject whether you're shooting stills or video.
Unlimited power.
Direct charging via USB-C cable.
The SIGMA fp L supports charging via USB even while the camera is on. You can shoot without interruption while charging the camera with a powerbank, even outdoors or when you don't have access to a power outlet. When using the fp L as a webcam, simply connect the camera to a computer via USB and it acts as an audio and video input device while drawing power from the computer.

The SIGMA L-mount lenses.
The SIGMA fp series uses the L-mount*, which features a short flange focal length, large diameter and superior durability. For interchangeable lenses, in addition to the wide selection of SIGMA lenses, lenses from other manufacturers in the L-Mount Alliance, i.e. Leica Camera AG and the Panasonic Corporation can be used. SIGMA SA-mount and SIGMA CANON EF-mount lenses can be used with the SIGMA mount converter MC-21.

Sigma 105mm f2.8 DG DN Macro (A) for L-Mount
The SIGMA 105mm F2.8 DG DN MACRO Art is the first macro lens specifically for mirrorless cameras in our Art product line.
This medium telephoto macro lens offers excellent resolving power, with wonderfully soft bokeh.
Impressive image results thanks to sophisticated optical corrections
The innovative optical design of the 105mm F2.8 DG DN MACRO Art ensures excellent sharpness and fine reproduction at all shooting distances, from macro to infinity. It also achieves clear images without color fringing. This is achieved, among other things, by paying special attention to the correction of longitudinal chromatic aberration. Longitudinal chromatic aberration cannot be corrected by the camera's own aberration correction.
Another focus in the development of the 105mm F2.8 DG DN MACRO Art was placed on bokeh, which plays a particularly important role when shooting in the medium telephoto range. The large yield of ambient light creates beautiful out-of-focus circles, while the natural bokeh in the foreground and background adds incredible flexibility to photographic expressions.
Highest optical and AF performance
Optical performance is a top priority in the design of lenses in the SIGMA Art product line.
Through consistent development work, Sigma has managed to excellently handle coma, for example, an aberration that often occurs at the edges of the image. In addition, ghosting and reflections are highly minimized. This was achieved through rigorous testing at early stages of development, ensuring that optical performance is excellent even when backlit.
In addition to being optimized for the latest features, such as face/eye detection AF, which mirrorless camera systems are very good at, the lens is equipped with a powerful Hyper-Sonic Motor (HSM) that ensures highly accurate and quiet AF operation.
Ghosting and reflection minimizing design
An ideal lens directs incident light through all the lenses and onto the sensor. If, on the other hand, some of the light is reflected by individual lenses, not only does the light yield decrease; the reflections within the lens create ghost images and aperture spots, or they reduce contrast. Such effects would be particularly noticeable in backlit shots.
To prevent this, the Sigma 105mm F2.8 DG DN MACRO Art uses a Super Multi-Layer Coating (SML) that reduces flare and ghosting. The result is clear, sharp, high-contrast images without distracting lens flares.
Compatible with the latest full-frame mirrorless cameras.
The SIGMA 105mm F2.8 DG DN MACRO Art is compatible with full-frame mirrorless cameras with L-mount.
An HSM motor is used for fast focusing. Auto focus with automatic eye detection used in newer mirrorless cameras is also supported; making precise focusing of portraits, for example, a breeze.
Effortless operation for maximum creativity
A wide range of features and excellent build quality make the 105mm F2.8 DG DN MACRO Art a pleasure to work with.
The lens has a focus range limiter, which is extremely handy for macro shooting as you can preselect or narrow down the AF working range. In addition, the lens has an AFL button that the photographer can assign specific functions to.
The manual aperture ring on the lens can be used optionally, is intuitive to use and also very functional. For example, the aperture ring click switch can be used to make the aperture ring click at each aperture stop or not, if it is not desired for background noise in macro shots of insects, for example. There is also an aperture ring lock switch. Thanks to all these advanced features, photographers can optimally adapt their working style to their shooting style.
The 105mm F2.8 DG DN MACRO Art is also dustproof and splashproof, so it can easily be used in harsher shooting conditions. All rings and switches, in turn, feature particularly durable construction, excellent operability and a comfortable grip.
