61 megapixels. The highest resolution.
For the SIGMA fp L, Sigma has utilized its expertise in Foveon sensor image processing technology.
Thanks to the extremely high resolution, the SIGMA fp L can let your imagination run wild and features a low-pass filter to further enhance optical performance.
The SIGMA fp L features a Bayer sensor with approximately 61 effective megapixels, which is higher resolution than any other SIGMA camera before. In addition to images with fine detail, the fp L can produce images that are high-resolution and rich in color thanks to the extremely high pixel count and Sigma's experience in developing cameras with a Foveon sensor. Due to its image quality, which is basically free of color artifacts, the heritage of the Foveon sensor was also behind the decision that the fp L should have a low-pass filter to reduce moiré to a minimum.
Crop Zoom function.
Higher resolution. Greater freedom.
Every photo is your dream photo.
A high pixel count means that images can be extremely zoomed or cropped. This was one aspect of an ultra-high pixel camera that prompted Sigma to give the fp L a Zoom function that works in both STILL and CINE modes. Thanks to the 61 megapixels, the fp L can also record in full HD quality at a maximum of 5x Zoom. As this is achieved simply by cropping without digital enhancement, the image quality does not suffer. The Zoom function can be controlled directly and intuitively via the screen.
Never miss a moment again.
Hybrid autofocus - contrast autofocus and phase autofocus.
In addition to high-precision contrast AF, the SIGMA fp L has fast phase AF. With this hybrid AF, you can enjoy smooth autofocus that is highly accurate, fast and great for tracking a moving subject, whether you're shooting stills or video.
Unlimited power supply.
Direct charging via the USB-C cable.
The SIGMA fp L supports charging via USB even while the camera is switched on. You can shoot without interruption while charging the camera with a power bank, even outdoors or when you don't have access to a power outlet. When using the fp L as a webcam, simply connect the camera to a computer via USB and it will act as an audio and video input device while drawing power from the computer.

Sigma 18-50mm f2.8 DC DN © for L-Mount
High speed of F2.8 and outstanding image quality
The SIGMA 18-50mm F2.8 DC DN Contemporary covers the focal length range between 27 and 75mm (equivalent to 35mm format) - with a continuous aperture of F2.8. This makes it ideal for portraits and close-ups where you want to crop the subject against a blurred background that does not distract from the sharp subject due to the attractive, soft bokeh.
With three high-precision, bright-pressed aspheres and a reduction in the total number of optical elements, the lens achieves outstanding image quality with low weight. The in-camera correction of optical disturbances also helps to eliminate aberrations such as distortion and vignetting. This performance is made possible by the advanced lens development technology at SIGMA's sole manufacturing facility in Aizu, Japan, where all SIGMA lenses are produced.
